Department of Communications
The S.H.I.E.L.D. Department of Communications is the largest department in S.H.I.E.L.D. It consists of Technicians and Analysts whose jobs range from Dispatch Coordinators, to Data Analysts, and even Transport and Transit drivers. The department of communications is also responsible for the coordination of the other departments. These personnel are key to maintaining efficiency and order amongst the various teams and operations of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Department of Science and Technology
The S.H.I.E.L.D. Department of Science and Technology is home to some of the brightest minds on the planet. S.H.I.E.L.D. Sci-Tech personnel range from Chemists, to Engineers, to Bio-Technicians. They develop bleeding edge, top of the line weapons and equipment for our field operatives, as well as research and advancement in a far ranging selection of scientific fields. The Sci-Tech Academy has long been regarded as the most difficult of the S.H.I.E.L.D. academies to be accepted into. Only the best can join these illustrious few.
Department of Operations
The S.H.I.E.L.D. Department of Operations is the collection of all Field Operatives, undercover agents, and direct support personnel. These are the boots on the ground. The soldiers and spies of S.H.I.E.L.D. who play the most direct role in protecting the planet. The department of operations is the home of all S.H.I.E.L.D. STRIKE teams, some of the world’s most elite special forces operatives. The Operations academy is so rigorous that it has the highest wash out rate of all S.H.I.E.L.D. academies.
